Nearly above all, Quincom aims to be a fun company - to work at, to deal with, to buy from.

But we do intend to see a financial return - and healthy a one at that.

We will be successful because we have a knack of picking good ideas - some of them our own, others that people have brought to us.

We are not looking to invest directly in other businesses, just in ideas. So if you've got the next iPod, Rubic's Cube or hyrodgen-powered car in your head, then you should get in touch.

It's too soon to say how we will deal with the ideas when they become huge - we might sell on, or we might just soak up the profits; but we will always be moving forwards.
